The fastest way to buy a local S-Bahn connection from the Munich airport to the Munich central train station is by clicking on the “Transport association” section. Point of departure – destination
Approach any train ticket terminal and select the desired language for use during the purchase. Simply hit a language flag on the bottom of the screen panel. The train ticket machine will automatically change to the desired language. There is always German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish language available. Hit the “Point of departure – destination” section.

Point of the departure will be automatically selected as the Munich airport (München Flughafen). Click on “Enter destination” button and type the München Hbf as german name for the Munich Hauptbahnhof – the Munich central train station. Click than “Next” button.
A timetable with the train connections leaving the Munich airport to Munich central train station will show up. Select an arbitrary connection. The transport tariff will change hence the train ticket for local city zones is not valid for specific train connection, rather than the ticket is time limited.
A type of the train ticket selection dialogue window will appear on the screen. Select only the “Single journey” option if your destination is the Munich central train station (or in backward case the Munich city airport).

Select the “Single journey” or buy the other type of the tickets according your will. It is possible to buy the stipe of tickets, the single all-day ticket or the group all-day ticket. In the same time you need to choose between issuing the ticket with a validation or without. A price is the same for both cases. The difference is only between the time when you can use the ticket. The ticket issued with validation is valid immediately and you should use it right away. The ticket issued without validation need to be validated in a check machine before the train ride.

Paying for the train ticket fare is the last step. Choose the right way how to pay for the ticket fare. You can pay by placing coins, bank notes up to 20€ or use the card payments. Accepted card payments are Maestro card, credit cards, Girocard and german Ruckgeld card. Now it is necessary only to pay for train ticket ride.
The tickets will be printed into the DB train ticket automat holding cage under the screen so you can pick them up now.
If you want to take a train and use ticket without validation for S-bahn, it is always necessary to check it before your departure in the automatic check machines. Simply place the train ticket into the machine and current time will be printed.
